The News…
The NEWS: Today I start my job as a D.C. correspondent for Newsweek, with a focus on the White House and Congress.
I’m SOOOOO excited for the transition to a national role, and it’s such an important time for accurate and immediate information. Obviously, I’ll still be active on my Twitter and will be following the role that Louisiana (as well as Mississippi and Missouri) plays in the national political scene. You’ll be reading a lot from me about the usual players — just more from inside the White House and other areas of Congress that I haven’t had the opportunity to fully explore in my more limited prior roles.
I’m thrilled!!! It’s exciting, but it’s also a new realm. Please send me your tips, ideas, suggestions — anything. I am soaking it all up as I move into this new scene.
I can’t thank you all enough for following along with my coverage of Louisiana and national politics over the years, and I hope you will continue to read!
Follow my awesome new employer Newsweek on Twitter and online. And ME.
And BTW: I plan to continue The Rundown in a weekly format and am available for freelance opportunities, so stay tuned here where I will promo any of that content.
